Indian film industry. She has been flooded with offers, but has been
opting out of several projects. Most recently, the petite actress
walked out of biggies' movies like Shankar's I and Mani Ratnam's Kadal
quoting dates issue. She is now at it again. She has said no to act
with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan in Trivikram Srinivas directed movie.
It was recently rumoured that the makers of the much-hyped upcoming
movie of Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas had approached Samantha
for the female lead in the film and she had agreed to play the role.
The makers would make a formal announcement about the casting of the
Eega star once she officially signed the project.
But the latest reports say that Samantha is too pre-occupied with
upcoming projects in Tamil and Telugu and she has no dates to give
until next year. Talking to a leading English daily, the actress said
that she had not signed any new films and she would not take up a new
project until she wrapped up the projects that are in her kitty at
present.
However, Samantha had taken a break for a couple of months due to
illness. She is very busy at the moment and is currently juggling
between four films like Neethaane En Ponvasantham, Seethamma Vakitlo
Sirimalle Chettu, Yevadu and Autonagar Surya. She is struggling hard
to complete her works for them as early as possible.
