The same story of Bollywood, Tollywood, Tamil, Telegu films is
recycled back to you in Manash Priya. Manash and Priya are lovers.
They have the standard background and are similar to whatthe audience
has seen earlier. The climax is also no different.
Manash and Priya's fathers were business partners and both were dead
when they grew up. Manash lives with his aunt who lovesher. Her love
is because he looks like her dead son. Priya lives with her uncle.
Manash and Priya are in same college and into deep romantic
relationship. Later everyone comes to know that Manash and Priya are
inheritors of huge property. Priya's uncle tries his best to grab the
same. Rest of the story moves on as per expectation of the audience
and as seen in similar movies. The hero Aviraj and heroinePamela did
an ordinary performance. The other cast too carried out their
performance as expected. This movie is a blow to the credibility of
Aviraj's acting skill. He would like to forget the action sequence
ofthis movie. The overall treatment is below par. The script is
predictable. Music is marginally above average. Editing is not up
tomark as audience can make out jerks and glitches.
The biggest challenge for this movie would be to get the audience
inthe movie hall. A period when you have "Alikh Sukh", "Half Serious"
dominating the theaters and"Boss" knocking the doors, It wouldbe a
tough call for the audience to invest on this movie.
Direction is by Anjan Ganguly andthe film is produced by Probir Roy of
PDS Films. Music is composed by Bappa Chatterjee. Every film lover
wants a movie to do well in the box office and want theproducers to
makemoney for the sake of this industry. Probably this team would
fallshort on this parameter.
