A single from Simbu's latestfilm Vaalu -- which will mark the Kollywood debut of Kannada film actor Aditya -- will release on the star's birthday on February 3. The offical audio launch is being planned much later for a February 14 release. It is, perhaps, no coincidence that the audio release release of this romantic comedy has been scheduled for the international day of love, Valentine's Day.
The movie, which is in the final stages of being shot, is being directed by debutant Vijay Chander and will star Simbu and actress Hansika Motwani (who acted in the Kannada film Bindaas that had Puneeth Rajkumar as her hero) in lead roles, along with Santhanam, Brahmandam and Jai in a special appearance, as well as Aditya. who is playing the baddie. The music has been composed by SS Thaman, who has been having a good run atthe box office with hit music in the past couple of years in both Kollywood and Tollywood. A good response has been reported for the single track teaser of this romantic entertainer.
