The reported postponement of release of Damarukam starring Akkineni
Nagarjuna and Anushka Shetty in leads, has created a lot of
confusionamong the film goers and the producers are trying hard to
clear the air. But the latest buzz that is doing rounds on
social-networking sites like Twitter and Facebook is that the pirated
DVD of this big budget movie has hit the stalls even before its
release.
According to the buzz, the movie Damarukam has been released in a DVD
along with two other movies like Dhenikaina Ready and Aranyam . A
cover page featuring these three films is doing rounds on the net. On
the top, the posters also shows the name of company RK Movies, which
has broughtthis to mark.
It is yet to be cleared whetherthis DVD cover art is true andwhether
it really has the movie Damarukam in it or not. Meanwhile, the makers
of the film, who are struggling to release it as early as possible
have requested Akkineni fans not to believe any rumours related to its
pirated DVDs.
However, Damarukam is the highest budget movie in the career of
Nagarjuna and it has been made with a whopping budget of Rs 42 crores.
If the DVD of the movie turns out to be real one, it will surely drown
the producers and distributors of the film. So, please watch this
movie in theatre, avoid piracyand save the filmmakers.
